Devlog Update – Reverie: The Lost Child

Hi everyone,this our first devlog:)

Two days ago, we released the first episode of Reverie: The Lost Child for FREE, our new game. Unfortunately, it's not performing very well right now, and I believe we failed in marketing it properly.

Today, I’m posting this devlog to update you on the future of the game and more.

What is Reverie: The Lost Child?

Reverie: The Lost Child is a third/first-person fantasy adventure episodic game series. It follows the story of a young boy who has the ability to see lost souls. As the player, you guide these souls to move on to another place (which is a secret for now!).

More About the World

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world, 20 years after a war called war of the 3 kindoms.our goal is to create a unique, atmospheric fantasy world with interesting lore and characters who each have their own journeys.

Who is Aki (the Protagonist)?

Aki is a young man in his twenties, lost and alone. He has the ability to see lost souls. Aki is wandering through an unfamiliar, empty world, trying to make sense of things. He’s discovering his past and searching for a meaning in his life, a purpose ...helping lost souls and fellow travelers he meets along the way.

Future of Reverie: The Lost Child

The idea was to start with small episodes, adding new gameplay mechanics, expanding the lore, introducing new characters, and continuing Aki’s story as the episodes progress.

As the first step, we released Episode 00, titled Starry Night. We named it Episode 00 because we wanted it to be the introduction to the series. We also decided to release this episode for FREE. The plan is to release future episodes for a small price. We will keep you updated on this.right now we are working on the next episode of the series :)
